Sarah Thomas joined SIS in 2016. She comes from an interdisciplinary educational background with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Studio Art, a Master of Science in Public Health, and is a Doctoral candidate of Psychology at Stockholm University.
In addition to her current role at SIS, she works as a lecturer at Stockholm University specializing in subjects of early and middle-childhood and adolescence. She also works as a researcher in the SU Developmental Psychology Division exploring topics of social and emotional competence, empathy, and health promotion with a focus on school-aged children from a cultural perspective.
Sarah was born in Canada and has lived in Costa Rica, Ireland, Spain and Finland. She currently resides in Sweden with her husband and 4 children.
