Henriette Sukho-Joof has over 20 years experience as a language teacher working in internationals schools. She joined SIS from the Banjul American Embassy School in The Gambia where she worked as a French teacher. Henriette joined the language acquisition department as one of the French language teachers for MYP.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Masters degree in French Literature, both from the University of Nice, France. Her experience in education includes developing teaching plans and teaching from preschool level to high school. She has also served as the head of after school programs and started up her own learning center for underprivileged children in The Gambia.
Recently, Henriette has worked with her school towards re-accreditation to ensure highest levels of education teaching and standards are maintained.
Henriette has travelled extensively over Europe and West Africa. She is passionate about education, creativity, and French culture.
