Clarotta is originally from Zimbabwe. She began her career in finance where she qualified as a chartered certified accountant (ACCA) in England. She holds a Masters degree in accounting with finance from London South Bank University, UK and a Postgraduate certificate in teaching mathematics from Warwick University, UK. Clarotta began her teaching career in 2003 in the UK; she has taught mathematics at Key Stages 3 through to 5 and has been a mathematics examiner for a UK national examining body. Clarotta has also worked as an associate lecturer in finance and accounting in England.
Clarotta moved to Sweden in 2011 with her husband, 2 children and a mountain of luggage! She has been teaching mathematics in Sweden since 2011 and joined SIS in 2015. In her spare time, Clarotta enjoys reading, baking and cycling. She has coached basketball at school and also played at club level. Clarotta is very passionate about the ‘right to education’ for all children, which is a fundamental human right.
